Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Shantanu Thakur visited DPA, Kandla and chaired a comprehensive review meeting in the presence of Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman, DPA, Nilabhra Dasgupta, IRS, Dy. Chairman, and senior officials of the Port.

The meeting was also attended by Vinodbhai Chavda, MP (Kutch), Mrs Maltiben Maheshwari, MLA and Mrs Divyaben Nathani, Mayor, Gandhidham.

The MoS reviewed DPA’s operational performance, infrastructure development, capacity expansion and green initiatives, while appreciating Team DPA and all stakeholders for achieving the Fastest 50 MMT cargo handling milestone among all Major Ports in India during the first quarter of FY 2026–27.
