The concerns raised by residents, workers and industries in the Chakan and Talegaon industrial area over potholes, traffic congestion and gaps in infrastructure have received serious and immediate attention.

Under the directions of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a high-level coordination meeting was jointly convened August 12, 2026 under the chairmanship of MIDC CEO Deependra Singh Kushwah (IAS) and District Collector, Pune, Jitendra Dudi (IAS).

The Chakan and Talegaon industrial region is supported by an extensive road network under multiple agencies, requiring close inter-agency coordination for efficient maintenance, traffic management and infrastructure development.
