Metro Rail extended its warm congratulations to Anoop Kumar Rai on his appointment as Director (Marketing) at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). He assumed charge on August 13, 2026.
Rai brings extensive experience in defence technology, research and development, and organisational leadership to his new role at the Navratna Defence PSU.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Director, Central Research Laboratory (CRL), Ghaziabad, at BEL from 2025, following his tenure as Chief Scientist.
His distinguished career at BEL reflects deep expertise in R&D, advanced defence technologies and strategic leadership. In his new role, he will lead BEL’s marketing function and contribute to strengthening the company’s business growth, strategic partnerships and market presence.
