MDL was pleased to welcome M T Krishna Babu, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh; Jasmeet Singh Bindra, IRTS, Chairman Visakhapatnam Port Authority and C V Praveen Adhitya, IAS, CEO, Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board to MDL today.

The delegation met CMD, Capt. Jagmohan (Retd.), and held discussions on the proposed Dugarajapatnam Shipbuilding Cluster. The discussions focused on developing a greenfield shipyard in line with the vision of Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision (MAKV) 2047, with the objective of strengthening India’s indigenous shipbuilding capability, enhancing maritime self-reliance, and supporting the growth of the Blue Economy.

The delegation was also briefed on MDL’s capabilities and ongoing projects, followed by a tour of the shipyard.
