MCL: Swayamsidhha Initiative of WIPS a step toward women’s empowerment
Swayamsidhha Initiative of WIPS, MCL marked a strong step toward women’s empowerment. Uday Anant Kaole, CMD, MCL, and Mrs Suwarna Kaole, President, Jagruti Mahila Mandal, inaugurated the WIPS driving training programme at MCL HQ.
Keshav Rao, Director (HR), A K Behura, Director (Finance), S K Jha, Director (Technical), along with the Vice Presidents of Jagruti Mahila Mandal, were also present on this occasion.
In the first batch, 30 women employees will be provided driving training, under this program, with a simulation based and live on-road training modules.
Smt. Alpana Shukla Rao,Vice President, JMM emphasised the importance of driving as an essential life skill and that it enables women to move freely, participate actively in society and become self-reliant.
Such initiatives at MCL reflect a clear objective to strengthen women’s empowerment by promoting skill development and equal opportunities for women.
