A 30-member delegation from Madagascar visited the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Headquarters for an interactive session to understand India's food security framework, operational practices and institutional experience.

The delegation was welcomed by Smt. Hema Jaiswal, Executive Director (Personnel), FCI, who delivered the keynote address highlighting FCI's pivotal role in ensuring the nation's food security. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation on FCI's mandate and operations, followed by a visit to an FCI field office.
