JNPA awarded first official language shield

JNPA awarded first official language shield
The official language is not just a language, but a powerful medium for effective communication and good governance.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) was awarded the first Official Language Shield for outstanding official language implementation for the year 2025-26. This award is a testimony to our continued commitment to the effective and widespread use of Hindi in official work.

The shield and certificate were presented by Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, to Ravish Kumar Singh, Vice President, JNPA, and Vinay Bahadur Malla, Manager (Official Language), during the Ministry's Hindi Advisory Meeting in New Delhi.

The use of Hindi at JNPA is not limited to mere formality; rather, the promotion and effective implementation of the official language is continuously encouraged through daily office work, administrative procedures, official correspondence, and mass communication.
