Sanjay Kumar Panigrahi, Managing Director, The Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI), met Dr Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, CEO of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust and the Special Area Development Authority in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh along with Kaushik Rakshit, Director (Finance), JCI, and Kalyan Kumar Mazumdar, General Manager, JCI.

During the meeting, discussions were held on promoting the use of Jute Diversified Products (JDPs) at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The deliberations focused on the potential use of eco-friendly jute products such as jute carpets, jute gift items, and other sustainable jute-based products within the temple premises. The initiative aims to encourage the adoption of environmentally friendly alternatives while showcasing the versatility and cultural significance of Indian jute.
