The Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI) in collaboration with the National Jute Board (NJB) celebrated Jute Day 2026 at the JCI Chakdaha DPC, Nadia, West Bengal.

The event brought together key policymakers, industry leaders, agricultural experts, and progressive farmers to discuss sustainable farming practices, carbon credits, and the future of the golden fibre.

 Keynote was addressed by Mrs Padmini Singla, IAS (Joint Secretary - Fibre, Ministry of Textiles) as Chief Guest, along with eminent dignitaries from ICAR-CRIJAF, ICAR-NINFET, and NJB.
