A review meeting jointly chaired by Sushil Kumar Lohani, IAS, Chairman, IWAI, and S Rajalingam, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Varanasi, and attended by senior officials of IWAI and the District Administrations of Varanasi, Chandauli and Mirzapur was held in Varanasi today.

The meeting focused on reviewing the status of rail connectivity to the Multi-Modal Terminal (MMT) in Varanasi, as well as the progress of the upcoming Ship Repair Facility.

The discussions emphasised coordinated efforts to expedite these critical infrastructure projects and further strengthen multimodal connectivity, logistics efficiency and inland waterway infrastructure in the region.
