IIM Ahmedabad: Inaugural Session of the 3rd IIMA Healthcare Summit
Following the inaugural session of the 3rd IIMA Healthcare Summit, leaders and experts from government, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, academia, and the startup ecosystem discussed how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can transform healthcare in India.
Two insightful panel discussions, titled “AI in Indian Healthcare: The Policy Imperatives for India @2047” and “Reimagining Healthcare Value Chain and Talent: How AI is Reshaping Diagnostics, Pharma, and Care Delivery,” examined key aspects of AI-driven transformation in the healthcare sector.
An interactive Fireside Chat on “Leading AI-ready Healthcare Organisations” featured Sharvil Patel, President, IPA and Managing Director, Zydus Lifesciences, and Ameera Shah, Executive Chairperson, Metropolis Healthcare, moderated by Prof. Tarun Jain, IIMA.
Aman Mehta, Managing Director, Torrent Pharma, also shared his insights during the Startup Showcase session, which featured presentations by shortlisted healthcare startups showcasing innovative solutions for the future of healthcare. The session concluded with an awards ceremony recognising the most promising ventures.
