Mohit Bhatia, Director (Commercial), Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), delivered the keynote address at the NGS Innovation Conclave 2026 on the theme "Powering India's Gas-Based Future."

Highlighting the roadmap towards a 15% gas-based economy, he underscored that India's energy transition will be driven by accelerated expansion of the National Gas Grid, rapid growth of City Gas Distribution (CGD), greater integration of Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), and development of a resilient LNG ecosystem. He also emphasized that innovation, policy support, and digital transformation will be critical to building a secure, affordable, and low-carbon gas infrastructure for a Viksit Bharat.
