Continuing its nationwide series of Capacity Building Workshops under the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF), HUDCO organized the Rajasthan workshop on Project Formulation & DPR Preparation for Urban Infrastructure Projects by Enhancing Revenue Streams of ULBs, bringing together key stakeholders to strengthen sustainable urban development.

The inaugural session was graced by Jhabar Singh Kharra, Minister for Urban Development & Housing, GoR, in the august presence of Ravi Jain, IAS, Secretary, Local Self Government, GoR, Juikar Pratik Chandrashekhar, IAS, Director-cum-Special Secretary, Directorate of Local Bodies, GoR, and Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD.

An MoU was signed between HUDCO and the Directorate of Local Bodies (DLB), GoR, to facilitate project preparation and capacity-building support for ULBs under UCF.

Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD, highlighted the vision of UCF and UiWiN, emphasizing their role in developing investment-ready urban infrastructure projects and strengthening the financial capabilities of ULBs.

Appreciating HUDCO’s initiative, Jhabar Singh Kharra lauded the workshop as a significant step towards empowering ULBs to accelerate sustainable, resilient, and future-ready urban development across Rajasthan.
