Hub & Spoke International Flight Operations from Amritsar
The Ministry of Civil Aviation inaugurated Hub & Spoke International Flight Operations from Amritsar, marking the next phase of India’s journey towards becoming a global aviation hub.
In a message shared on the occasion, Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu said that the Hub & Spoke model is "not merely an aviation model; it is an opportunity model," highlighting Amritsar's role as a major international gateway for Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. The event was graced by Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, along with other senior Ministry officials.
With Delhi as the hub and Amritsar as a key international gateway, the initiative will strengthen seamless global connectivity for passengers from Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh, advancing the vision of making India a global aviation hub.
