A meeting of the high-level committee constituted to designate 'outstanding sportspersons' was held at the residence-office of Chief Minister  Vishnu Deo Sai.

During the meeting, committee members—including Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao—deliberated extensively on applications received for the years 2018-19 and 2019-20; after reviewing all aspects, they finalized the selection of 156 outstanding sportspersons.

Necessary proceedings to induct these sportspersons into government service will commence once the General Administration Department issues a formal notification regarding this.
