Delighted to visit one of the oldest serving oil wells of the country at the installation of Oil India Limited in Duliajan, Assam.

This well, which is located near the lush tea estates of Assam, has been continuously producing oil for the last six decades. It is also a remarkable reflection of the exemplary journey of OIL, its contribution to India’s quest for energy security and its coming of age under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi Ji.

The company which began its operations in the tea estates of Assam is now ruling the waves in Andaman Sea, and is exploring newer frontiers in Kerala-Konkan Basin and the India-Pak border in Rajasthan.
