GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, IAS, directed comprehensive beautification of RK Beach road as Visakhapatnam prepares to host the prestigious Partnership Summit 2026. GVMC Commissioner conducted a detailed field inspection of RK Beach Road and directed officials to undertake comprehensive beautification and infrastructure improvement works to showcase the city at its very best.

The Commissioner instructed all departments to work in close coordination to ensure a clean, green, safe, and aesthetically appealing environment. Key initiatives include repairing footpaths and damaged median grills, installing decorative lighting and additional streetlights, upgrading dustbins, removing unauthorized encroachments, strengthening greenery through gap-filling plantations, ensuring regular horticulture maintenance, and enhancing monitoring through GPS-enabled horticulture vehicles.

These initiatives reaffirm GVMC's commitment to developing a world-class, citizen-friendly and investor-ready Visakhapatnam ahead of the Partnership Summit.
