Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, GVMC signed a historic Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Government of Moscow during the 5th International Transport Summit in Moscow. The agreement was signed by GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, IAS, with Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, in the presence of Visakhapatnam MP M Sribharat.

This landmark partnership reflects GVMC's commitment to adopting world-class technologies, innovative governance practices and sustainable urban mobility solutions. It will strengthen the Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER), enhance urban infrastructure, promote technological innovation, and support the vision of transforming Visakhapatnam into a globally competitive, smart and sustainable city.
