GUVNL Power Purchase Agreements with SJVN Ltd
GUVNL is pleased to announce the signing of long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN Limited for power procurement from the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I, 382 MW Sunni Dam and 66 MW Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Projects, and with NHPC Limited for power procurement from the 1,856 MW Sawalkot and 1,720 MW Kamala Hydro Electric Projects.
With a cumulative installed capacity of over 4.2 GW, these strategic partnerships mark a significant step towards strengthening Gujarat’s long-term energy security through access to clean, reliable and flexible hydro power. The projects will support grid stability, facilitate greater integration of renewable energy and contribute to meeting the State’s future power requirements in a sustainable manner.
