On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day 2026, Gujarat Skill Development Mission exchanged two important Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in the presence of Lochan Sehra, IAS, Secretary, Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

The collaborations include: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) – To integrate higher education with vocational education, strengthen Government skill development programmes, promote internships and apprenticeships, enhance employability, and support innovation, digital learning, and quality assurance.

IPE Global – A non-financial collaboration to strengthen women's economic empowerment through skill development, gender-inclusive employment practices, technical assistance, awareness generation, and improved programme implementation.

These strategic partnerships reinforce Gujarat's commitment to creating an inclusive, innovative, and industry-aligned skill development ecosystem that empowers youth and contributes to sustainable economic growth.
