Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, addressed an enthusiastic gathering at the reception hosted by Friends of Gujarat - Canada in Toronto.

Wherever Gujaratis settle across the globe, they bring their unique spirit of hard work, enterprise, and cultural harmony, creating a true sense of Gujarat wherever they are.

From its humble beginnings in 1960 with scarce basic infrastructure, Gujarat has undergone a historic transformation over the last two decades under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, firmly establishing itself as the growth engine of India.

Today, Gujarat is rapidly emerging as a premier global destination for high-tech innovation and sunrise sectors - leading the nation in semiconductor manufacturing, green energy, international fintech through GIFT City, and advanced manufacturing.

Commended the vibrant Gujarati community for their immense contributions to Canada’s economic growth, and urged them to contribute to their Janmabhoomi by exploring emerging investment opportunities in Gujarat.
