GMDC participated in FIMI’s Sustainable Mining Summit held at the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar and presented a technical paper titled “GMDC: Mining with a Difference – People First, Environment Always”, highlighting the Corporation’s commitment to responsible mining, environmental stewardship, community development, and sustainable growth.

The paper was presented by Lt. General Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (Retd.), Regional Director, RCO, Bhubaneswar, and showcased GMDC’s people-centric and sustainability-driven approach to mining, emphasizing the balance between economic progress, environmental responsibility, and social impact.
