Under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG), Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 is being observed from July 1 to 15, 2026 across GAIL, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainability, and responsible citizenship.

Marking the commencement of the fortnight-long observance, the Swachhta Pledge was administered at GAIL’s Corporate Office as well as at various site offices across the country, reflecting a unified resolve to build cleaner workplaces, stronger communities, and a cleaner India.

At GAIL Corporate Office, New Delhi, the Swachhta Pledge was administered by Deepak Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL, in Hindi and by Ayush Gupta, Director (Human Resources), GAIL, in English. The ceremony was held in the presence of Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing), R K Singhal, Director (Business Development), S K Sinha, Director (Finance), Executive Directors, and employees, reinforcing the shared responsibility of every individual towards cleanliness and environmental stewardship.

Employees participated with great enthusiasm and subsequently signed the Swachhta Pledge Board, symbolising GAIL’s commitment to promoting cleanliness and eco-friendly practices while encouraging communities to carry forward the message of Swachh Bharat.
