GAIL holds a Pan-India Confluence themed “Fostering Synergy for Seamless Gas Supply”
The deliberations highlighted the growing strategic importance of PNG and CNG in India’s clean energy transition. Recent geopolitical developments in West Asia further reinforced the need for a robust domestic gas ecosystem, while the Government’s continued emphasis on expanding PNG adoption for household cooking reaffirmed its role as a cleaner, safer, and more secure energy source.
In his inaugural address, Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing), GAIL, emphasised the significance of such forums in fostering meaningful dialogue on future demand, supply resilience, infrastructure readiness, and collaborative strategies to meet India’s evolving energy requirements.
The confluence was widely appreciated by participants for providing an effective platform to strengthen engagement between GAIL and CGD stakeholders. The significance of the initiative was further reflected in the presence of GAIL’s senior leadership, including ED (O&M–CO), ED (Projects), ED (PD), and ED (NR), reaffirming the organisation’s collective commitment to strengthening the CGD ecosystem.
As India advances towards a cleaner energy future, GAIL (India) Limited remains committed to fostering strong partnerships that contribute to building a resilient, sustainable, and energy-secure nation.
