GAIL celebrated its 43rd Foundation Day at the Corporate Office, New Delhi, with colleagues from across the country joining the celebrations in person and through video conferencing.

The occasion was led by Deepak Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL, in the presence of Ayush Gupta, Director (HR); Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing); Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development); S K Sinha, Director (Finance); senior officials and members of the GAIL family.

The celebration brought the GAIL family together to mark the organisation’s 42 year journey and reaffirm its shared commitment to India’s energy growth and nation-building.

Addressing the gathering, Deepak Gupta highlighted GAIL’s role in nation-building and said:

“For more than four decades, GAIL has been much more than a company that transports or markets gas. We have been an institution of national importance.”

Highlighting the road ahead, he emphasised that “the next chapter of GAIL will demand more collaboration, more innovation, more agility, and above all, more ownership.”

The address highlighted GAIL’s continued focus on strengthening its core businesses, exploring new opportunities, leveraging technology and AI, advancing India’s energy transition, and building a stronger, greener and more future-ready organisation.

The celebrations reflected the shared pride, purpose and commitment of the GAIL family as it comes together to shape the organisation’s next chapter.
