Sanjiv Garg, IRTS, former Additional Member, Railway Board, visited V O Chidambaranar Port Authority and was warmly welcomed by Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, and Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson, along with senior port officials.

During the visit, a detailed presentation was made highlighting the port's recent achievements, ongoing infrastructure projects, future development plans, green energy initiatives, digital transformation efforts, and cargo growth strategies. Garg was also briefed on key projects and initiatives that reflect VOC Port's commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase VOC Port's vision of becoming a future-ready, technology-driven, and environmentally responsible maritime gateway.
