FDDI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SIPCOT to establish the FDDI–SIPCOT Industry Integrated Footwear Skill Development Centre at Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. This collaboration aims to create an industry-ready workforce by integrating skill development with real-world manufacturing requirements.

The initiative will provide industry-aligned training, certification and hands-on learning, with a capacity to train up to 180 trainees every month. Together, FDDI and SIPCOT are committed to fostering innovation, enhancing employability and supporting the sustainable growth of India's footwear sector.
