EIL CMD Atul Gupta inaugurates Skill Training Centre at Greater Noida
As part of EIL's flagship CSR initiative, Project Shakti and reaffirming our commitment to empowering women through sustainable livelihood opportunities, EIL has supported installation of tailoring equipment at Skill Training Centre for women at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The Skill Training Centre was inaugurated by Atul Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, EIL in presence of Sanjay Jindal, Director (Finance) and R K Singh, Director (HR).
This initiative will provide Skill training to 300 underprivileged women in a year through structured training in tailoring, embroidery and garment finishing. The women will receive hands-on training using sewing machines and embroidery machines, enabling them to acquire industry-relevant skills.
At the successful completion of the training programme, participants will also receive certificates, enhance their credibility and improve their prospects for employment or self-employment.
