Satish Jha, CMD, ECL engaged with the Chief Secretary, Government of Jharkhand, to discuss and facilitate the resolution of various issues concerning ECL’s operations in the State. Key matters relating to land, revenue records, land possession, rehabilitation & resettlement, law and order, and administrative support for smooth mining operations were discussed.

ECL emphasised the need for coordinated intervention by the State Government and district administration for time-bound resolution of long-pending issues, which would facilitate project implementation, enhance operational efficiency and support sustained coal production.

The engagement reaffirmed ECL’s commitment to maintaining close coordination with the Government of Jharkhand and working jointly towards faster resolution of bottlenecks, strengthening mining operations and contributing to the State’s economic development and the nation’s energy security.
