DVC participates in CII PSE Purva Pragati Summit-2026

Rajesh Pandey, IAS, Chairman, DVC, highlighted critical dimensions shaping the future of the power sector. He emphasised the Five Ps—Performance, Process, Persona, Procurement, and Preparedness and the transformative implications of the new Labour Codes in building an agile, future-ready workforce and easing business operations.
He further stressed a key element of industrial competitiveness: capital-intensive PSUs must strengthen their earning capacity to fund sustained investments in large-scale projects. Financial strength and operational efficiency are critical to meeting the infrastructure and energy needs of a growing economy.
The summit reinforced the necessity of embracing digital transformation, robust labour compliance, continuous reskilling, and employee-centric HR practices.
Later in the day, Sidhartha Sankar Das, Member - Secretary, DVC, featured as panelist for the session: "Labour Codes, Compliance, and Industrial Relations: Preparing PSE & Industry for the Future of Work."
