DPA: Biannual review meeting of Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee held
The biannual review meeting of the Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee (Narakas), Kandla-Gandhidham, was held under the chairmanship of Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME Chairman, Deendayal Port Authority and Narakas Kandla-Gandhidham.
Approximately 70 officers and employees from 43 member offices were present at the meeting. Information was provided regarding the Narakas Incentive Award presented to Narakas Kandla-Gandhidham by the Official Language Department, and the member offices were presented with Official Language Shields for outstanding official language work for the year 2025-26.
In his concluding address, the Narakas Chairman encouraged all member offices to achieve the set goals for the official language, Hindi, and to increase the use of Hindi in official work.
The meeting witnessed fruitful discussions to promote the effective and easy use of Hindi and to accelerate the implementation of the official language.
