At the “Discover UP – People, Places, Possibilities” Tourism Conclave in Lucknow, Jaiveer Singh, Minister for Tourism & Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, highlighted the state’s remarkable tourism growth. He stated that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leading destination for religious, spiritual, and eco-tourism, attributing this transformation to improved law and order and the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath since 2017.

He further stated that significant infrastructure development around key destinations such as Varanasi, Mathura and Ayodhya has greatly enhanced the visitor experience and strengthened Uttar Pradesh’s position as a leading tourism destination. He noted that improved connectivity, world-class amenities, and focused tourism development initiatives have played a crucial role in attracting a growing number of tourists and pilgrims to the state.
