DGMA conferred ‘Maritime Trade Facilitator of the Year’ Award
The Directorate General of Maritime Administration is proud to share that Sushil Khopde, IPS, Additional Director General of Maritime Administration, DGMA, graced the Indian Maritime Awards 2026, organized by Daily Shipping Times on 29 July 2026, as the Chief Guest.
On the occasion, DGMA was conferred the “Maritime Trade Facilitator of the Year” Award in recognition of its efforts towards maritime trade facilitation, digital transformation, Ease of Doing Business, and stakeholder-centric governance.
In his keynote address, Khopde highlighted DGMA's commitment to regulatory reforms, technology-driven governance, and seafarer welfare, while reiterating the vision of a future-ready, efficient, and sustainable maritime sector.
