DFCCIL participated in the PCSOs' Conference 2026 held on July 11, 2026, bringing together Principal Chief Safety Officers (PCSOs) from all Zonal Railways to deliberate on strengthening railway safety through collaboration, innovation and the exchange of best practices.

The evening session was graced by Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO, Railway Board; Hitendra Malhotra, Director General/Safety; Rajesh Kumar Pandey, General Manager, Northern Railway; Upinder Singh, PED/Safety; Pankaj Kumar Singh, PCSO/NR; Rahul Srivastava, ED/Safety/Civil; Dr. Utkarsh, ED/Safety/Mechanical; Ashok Nakra, ED/Safety/Electrical; Mukul Kumar, ED/Safety/Traffic; and Balbir Singh Yadava, ED/Safety/S&T, whose presence added significance to the proceedings.

Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director/OP&BD, DFCCIL, addressed the gathering and highlighted DFCCIL's key initiatives, achievements and contribution towards transforming freight transportation in India. The session also featured the screening of the DFCCIL Corporate Film, showcasing the organisation's milestones and operational excellence.

Thereafter, Gaurav Sharma, GGM/Safety, DFCCIL, delivered a comprehensive presentation on DFCCIL's safety framework, operational protocols and best practices, reaffirming the organisation's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety across its network.

The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and strengthened coordination among safety leaders across Indian Railways, further reinforcing the collective commitment to building a safer and more resilient railway ecosystem.
