Marking a significant milestone in DFCCIL's digital transformation journey, Praveen Kumar, MD/DFCCIL, inaugurated the Signalling Maintenance Management System (SMMS) and Remote Diagnostic & Predictive Maintenance System (RDPMS) for the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC).

The inauguration was held in the presence of Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director/OP&BD; Anurag Sharma, Director/Infrastructure; Pawan K Rai, Director/Project Planning, and other senior officials of DFCCIL.

The implementation of these advanced digital platforms marks a significant step towards intelligent infrastructure management. By enabling real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, remote diagnostics, and data-driven asset management, SMMS and RDPMS will enhance the reliability of signalling assets, minimise maintenance downtime, improve operational efficiency, and further strengthen the safety and seamless movement of freight trains across the Dedicated Freight Corridor.

The initiative reflects DFCCIL's continued commitment to leveraging technology and innovation in building a modern, efficient, and future-ready freight railway network.
