DFCCIL organised a Stakeholder conference with Developers, Financiers and Bidders on the financing and construction of the East–West Dedicated Freight Corridor (EWDFC) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Led by Praveen Kumar, MD/DFCCIL; Shyam Sundar Gupta, PED/Infrastructure, Railway Board; B Mugunthan, Director/Finance and Rahul Kapoor, ED/F/RM&PPP, Railway Board, the conference was attended by Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director/OP&BD; Anurag Sharma, Director/Infrastructure; and Pawan K Rai, Director/Project Planning along with other senior officials from DFCCIL and stakeholders.

The discussions focused on the financing framework, construction strategy, stakeholder participation, and implementation roadmap for the EWDFC. The interactive session provided a platform to address stakeholder queries, exchange valuable inputs, and strengthen collaborative efforts towards the timely development of India's next-generation freight corridor.
