Defence Minister reviews performance of DPSUs
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh chaired the annual performance review of Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). On this occasion, CMD BEL, Manoj Jain, presented a dividend cheque (interim and final) of ₹934.47 crore for the government's equity holdings for FY 2025–26.
Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth and Secretary (DP), Sanjeev Kumar were also present during the event.
The Raksha Mantri underlined that in 2025–26, India achieved defence production worth approximately ₹1.8 lakh crore, with DPSUs contributing ₹1.29 lakh crore. He termed this achievement a reflection of the nation’s significant progress toward building an Aatmanirbhar defence industrial base.
During the event, CMD BEL Manoj Jain also apprised the Hon’ble RM of BEL's innovative products and indigenous technologies.
