CONCOR and GAIL sign long-term agreement
This initiative marks a significant milestone in transitioning India's heavy-duty commercial logistics sector to sustainable fuel options. Under the 15-year agreement, GAIL will have exclusive operational control and invest in setting up the LNG retail outlet infrastructure. CONCOR will provide approximately 3,000 square meters of land and the necessary utility connectivity within its high-traffic Ahmedabad terminal complex.
To ensure the commercial viability of the Green Corridor project, CONCOR has committed to deploy a dedicated fleet of 15 LNG-powered commercial vehicles in the first year of the contract. This multi-modal facility will operate 24x7 and provide high-performance and eco-friendly fuel supply to CONCOR's logistics fleet as well as commercial vehicles in the open market.
The agreement was signed on July 8, 2026 at GAIL office in New Delhi by Mani Bhushan Singh, GGM (Projects & Services), CONCOR and Hitendra Kumar Garg, ED (Marketing), GAIL. Swayambhu Arya, ED (Projects & Services), CONCOR and other senior officials of GAIL and CONCOR were also present on the occasion.
