Commodore Sanjay Kumar, Director HQ Naval Technical Group(Bangalore), Navy has been selected for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, National Research Development Corporation at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on September 10, 2026. Sanjay Kumar, who was selected among 12 candidates, will succeed CMDE Amit Rastogi completing tenure on October 18, 2026. Rastogi was supposed to get extension till March 31, 2027, date of his superannuation but was not extended.
