An Indian delegation comprising Sanoj Kumar Jha, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, and our Chairman, B Sairam, participated in the US–India Round Table on ‘US Coal Export and Coal Technology Opportunities’ held in Washington, DC.

The Round Table featured presentations and discussions led by the National Mining Association (NMA), USA, and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), in partnership with the US Department of Energy and the US Department of Commerce.

Subsequently, the delegation held a bilateral meeting with senior US government officials to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration between the two countries in the coal and energy sectors.
