CMPDI celebrates International Yoga Day
CMPDI celebrated 12th International Yoga Day 2026 with the theme —“Yoga for Healthy Ageing’’ at its HQ, Ranchi and all its Regional Institutes with full enthusiasm. At CMPDI (HQ), Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, CMD, CMPDI inaugurated the International Yoga Day celebrations by lighting the lamp and participated in the yoga session along with Nripendra Nath, D(T/CRD); Anand Mohan, D(RD&T, BD); R KSingh, ED(Exploration), CIL; GM/HoDs; Senior officials; Smt. Smita Singh, President, Kasturi Mahila Sabha (KMS) & KMS other members; Gondwana Primary School teachers, employees and their family members.

Speaking on this occasion, Singh said that Yoga is a timeless gift that serves as a cornerstone for holistic wellness, particularly aligning with this year's theme of healthy ageing. He emphasized that integrating daily yoga practices into our routines helps maintain physical vitality, sharpens mental clarity, and builds emotional resilience as we grow older.

To ensure the benefits of this practice extend beyond the main event, CMPDI, as a run-up to International Day of Yoga 2026, is organising a one-week Yoga Boot Camp from 18th–26th June, 2026 at CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi. This camp features guided sessions by certified yoga experts, focusing on specialized techniques for stress management, flexibility, and age-defying wellness for all age groups.
