Chennai Port Authority gets Container Handling Port of the Year award
Chennai Port Authority has been conferred the Container Handling Port of the Year award at the 17th South East Cargo & Logistics Awards 2026, in recognition of its record-breaking container handling performance.
The port achieved its highest-ever container throughput of 1.9 million TEUs during FY 2025–26, reaffirming its position as one of India’s leading container gateways.
The award was received by Kirupanandasamy, Traffic Manager, Chennai Port Authority, on behalf of the organisation.
