Chairman MPEDA Reviews GIFT Tilapia Project at Vijayawada
P. Jawahar, IAS, Chairman, MPEDA & President, RGCA, visited the MPEDA-RGCA Nucleus Breeding Centre for GIFT Tilapia at Manikonda Village, Vijayawada, to review the progress of ongoing project activities.
He was accompanied by Dr. Kandan, Consultant, RGCA, and Prasad Naik, AD, MPEDA. The project team briefed the Chairman on the current status of broodstock management, seed production, growth performance, and other technical aspects of the GIFT Tilapia project.
During the visit, the Chairman inspected the farm operations and interacted with the technical team to review the project's progress.
