CCL receives First Prize for Excellence in Official Language Implementation
Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) was awarded the first prize under the Annual Award Scheme (2025-26) of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertaking), Ranchi. This honor recognizes the company's effective implementation of the Official Language (Hindi), its excellent operational performance, and the successful organization of various activities related to the Official Language.

This achievement is the result of the visionary leadership of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh and the constant guidance of Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra. Ashok Kumar, General Manager (Official Language) and In-charge of Official Language at CCL, received the award from Nripendra Nath, Director (Technical/CRD), during a prestigious ceremony held at CMPDI, Ranchi. On this occasion, Vichitrasen Gupta, Deputy Director (Official Language), Eastern Region, Ministry of Home Affairs, commended CCL's remarkable efforts in the realm of the Official Language.

CCL has carved a distinct niche for itself among Public Sector Undertakings through the effective implementation of the Official Language policy, the progressive use of Hindi, the training of officers and employees, and the extensive use of Hindi in technical and administrative functions.

This honor stands as a testament to the dedication, excellent work culture, and commitment to the national language demonstrated by the entire CCL family.
