CCI's 56th Foundation Day was celebrated at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, in the august presence of Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh; Ministers of Maharashtra Sanjay Shirsat, Sanjay Savkare and Atul Save. The programme was also graced by Mrs Padmini Singla, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Mrs Vrunda Desai, Textile Commissioner; Lalit Kumar Gupta, CMD, CCI; and senior officials of the Central and State Governments. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the shared commitment to empowering cotton farmers, promoting sustainable cotton cultivation and strengthening India's cotton and textile value chain.
