Canara Bank reaffirmed its commitment to financial inclusion by participating in the Credit Outreach Programme organised by the State Level Bankers' Committee in Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh. The programme was graced by Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman and  Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu. Brajesh Kumar Singh, Managing Director & CEO, Canara Bank, joined the dignitaries in distributing loan sanction letters and CSR assistance to beneficiaries. During the programme, loan assistance amounting to ₹393.17 crore was sanctioned across priority sectors to support entrepreneurship and livelihood generation, while CSR assistance of ₹36.85 lakh was extended towards community welfare initiatives. The initiative reflects Canara Bank's continued commitment to expanding access to institutional credit and fostering inclusive socio-economic development through responsible banking.
