Bihar Tourism: Shravani Mela from July 30
While reviewing preparations for the Shravani Mela—scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 28—Tourism Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh directed the District Magistrates of Bhagalpur, Munger, and Banka to ensure the timely provision of all necessary facilities for Kanwariyas, including sanitation, lighting, security, signage, sand spreading, and special barricading at the Ganga ghats.

The Tourism Department will arrange for tent cities, clean drinking water, bathing areas, toilets, uninterrupted power supply, and 'Jivika Didi' kitchens along the Kanwariya path; meanwhile, special attractions for devotees will include a drone show and laser show near the Baba Ajgaibinath Temple in Sultanganj on the inaugural day, as well as performances by national-level artists at the fair's opening and closing ceremonies.
