A two-day capacity building programme on ‘Bankable Urban Infrastructure and Private Capital Mobilization’ was organised in Chandigarh by HUDCO in collaboration with the World Bank Group and PPIAF.

The workshop was inaugurated by M Nagaraj, DCP, HUDCO and Ms. Rosanna Nitti, Senior Urban Specialist, Word Bank, in the presence of Municipal Commissioners and senior officials from Municipal Corporations and Urban Agencies of Punjab, Haryana, HP, J&K and Chandigarh.

The programme brought together experts and stakeholders to deliberate upon key themes including UCF, UiWIN, municipal finance, PPPs, water utility reforms, land value capture and innovative frameworks for unlocking private investment in urban infrastructure.
