BCCL held its 55th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Koyla Bhawan Headquarters, Dhanbad, chaired by CMD, Manoj Kumar Agarwal.

The meeting was attended virtually by Sanoj Kumar Jha, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, and Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing), CIL. Director (HR) Murli Krishna Ramaiah, Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Technical-P&P) Rajeev Kumar Sinha, Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar, along with HQ GMs/HoDs, Area GMs, other senior officials and shareholders of the Company, were also present at the AGM.

Addressing the shareholders, Agarwal outlined BCCL's performance during FY 2025-26 and highlighted the Company's priorities for the years ahead, with focus on production growth, modernisation of mining operations, advanced technologies, coking coal washeries, digital transformation, safety, sustainability and financial performance.

The AGM also provided an opportunity for shareholders to interact with the Company's management on matters related to future growth prospects, profitability, production, technology adoption, safety, CSR, renewable energy initiatives and stakeholder value creation. CMD, BCCL responded to the queries raised by the shareholders, sharing the Company's perspective on key areas of growth, operational performance and future plans.

The interaction reaffirmed BCCL's commitment to transparent governance, operational excellence and sustainable growth while creating long-term value for its shareholders and stakeholders.
