ALIMCO: A new beginning for eastern India from Ranchi
ALIMCO inaugurated its Eastern Regional Office in Ranchi, which will provide services to 13 states and union territories, including the Northeast.
Key Achievements: Approximately 2.50 lakh disabled persons and senior citizens will benefit from an estimated service coverage of ₹277 crore. Fast, accessible, and effective last-mile delivery of services will be ensured. Assistive devices worth approximately ₹500 crore have been provided to over 3 lakh beneficiaries so far through 107 PMDVKs across the country. Innovation-based initiatives such as electric mobility scooters, AT Marts, and mobile service vans will play a vital role in providing better services to disabled persons and senior citizens.
